Dapplegrey 3.4.1

Description

Dapplegrey is a frontend for the Mac OS X DOSBox port (which you can get from the official DOSBox website) written in REALbasic.

If you've already installed DBGL, DBGL can also be used as DOSBox source to run games with Dapplegrey.

Dapplegrey gives you the ability to set options DOSBox provides to the user, but w/o having to enter those options by using the Terminal or even have to edit the DOSBox config file by TextEdit. The config file which will be send to DOSBox will be written to hard disk just before Dapplegrey tells DOSBox to start.

Changelog

Dapplegrey 3.4.1 - No longer attempt to mount both hdd and CD to drive D: at the same time

  • When attempt to add a hard disk drive D:, the subroutine in Dapplegrey that checks for an emulated CD in drive D: first, is working now. If drive D: has been set for both CD and hard disk drive accidentally before, the hard disk drive will be ejected automatically.
  • Also, the Imgmount feature checks for number of CDs before filling the list now (this will prevent a crash if Dapplegrey 3.4.1 will be accidentally fed with a newer list of your DOS games, when Dapplegrey with an updated CD-ROM handling will be published.
