How to join an existing netplay session with MedClient

  4. (Optional) Select a Rom Path where will be put the downloaded Rom from external server.
    An empty value will put the Rom inside the RomTemp folder inside MedGuiR folder.
  5. Skip this. This is for managing our own roms. We'll be joining and using someone else's.

  6. Press the "Open Client" button. This will open the MedClient window.

At startup MedClient will show all Mednafen netplay sessions which are active.
  1. - Enable "Refresh grid every sec". This will update the list of available netplay sessions at the specified interval.
    - Pressing the "Refresh" button will immediately refresh the list

  2. User data will contain by default the last Nickname you've used in a Mednafen netplay session. If one hasn't been used before, you will see the default selection "Idontwantanick".
    You can also input a "Password" and "Gamekey" if requested by netplay session. You will need to coordinate with the netplay session host through other communication channels (chats, forums, etc.)
    You will know whether they are required because it's indicated in the grid with the word "Yes".

  3. When the user that started a netplay session has uploaded a game, the "Download button"  will be enabled.
    You can download the same rom that user is using, and it will be put on the folder specified int point 4

  4. Double click in a row to start a Mednafen netplay session and auto-connect to the same session of the chosen user.
    If you have downloaded the rom from the server, MedGui Reborn will search fir it on     the folder specified in point 4,
    otherwise it will popup a file dialog to select a rom from a path.
