While most games needs to be installed on a drive ‚C:‘ path, the tools and games included with Dapplegrey (the ‚Toolbox‘ and the 'Games Included' listings), will be started from drive T: (the Toolbox drive letter) instead. For example, if you run MJVGA which is included in the 'Games Included' listing, you can save your savegames to drive ‚C:‘, while the folder which holds the game automatically has been mounted as drive ‚T:‘. To set this type of drive C:, please open the Preferences window first to select a folder near the "Base 'Drive C:' folder" setting. Look at the screenshot, we‘re saving a MJVGA savegame to ‚c:filename‘. The file will be saved to the C_Drive, which has been added by the user using the Drives symbol -> "Set Hard Disk drive C:…" before. You shouldn‘t save your MJVGA games to drive ‚T:‘ (the Toolbar letter), because these savegames may will be lost when upgrading Dapplegrey to a newer version. | ||
