RECOIL 4.0

RECOIL is a viewer of pictures in native formats of classic computers: Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Apple II, Atari 8-bit, Atari Portfolio, Atari ST, Atari TT, Atari Falcon, BBC Micro, Commodore 16, Commodore 64, Commodore 128, Macintosh 128K, MSX, NEC PC-88, NEC PC-98, Oric, SAM Coupé, Sharp X68000, TRS-80, TRS-80 Color Computer, ZX81 and ZX Spectrum.

RECOIL is available on Android, Windows, macOS, Linux and HTML 5 browsers.

• Atari ST/TT/Falcon: added dozens of formats and improved the existing ones, thanks to Lonny Pursell
• Amiga: slightly improved IFF
• ZX81: added ZXpaintyONE (ZP1, RAW), fixed P

• Windows thumbnails: enable thumbnails automatically in folders with images
• RECOILWin: support high-resolution displays
• Windows 10: improved icons, display filename
• recoil2png: process next files after an error
• Android: switched to the standard build system
